On average we each produce about nine tonnes of CO2 each year. This amount of gas is the equivalent of filling five hot air balloons. An ambitious challenge has been set for each of us to reduce the number of balloons we fill to just two by 2025 – that’s a 60% reduction!
By clicking on the icon below and pledging to start saving energy you can be on your way to meeting this target. A few positive actions and simple changes in the way we live will not just help our environment but could also save you money.
Once your initial pledges have been made you can then make further pledges, learning about the impacts those actions can have, access a carbon calculator and an energy monitoring tool. By returning to your own unique homepage over time you can update your pledges once they have been completed and make new ones as well as find out more information as it is added. So when you receive your own unique pass code number by email you can return to the site whenever you want, so keep the code safe!
